Problems with DMC-LC50

HELP!!!!!
Have just purchased new Panasonic DMC-LC50 Digital camera. When i plug it into the PC it fails to recognise the memory card and will not let me download the photo's.I am running Windowa ME and it tells me that there are no drivers installed for this hardware. Have checked Microsoft for driver updates with no success. I know that another member has experienced the same problem and found the answer on on the internet. I have'nt been so lucky. Can anyone please help.

You have to install the software that came with the camera, that's why they give you the disk wen you buy it.

Disc has been installed . Thats why they supply it. It still don't work

In that case, standard troubleshooting would be to uninstall everything, make sur the drivers are removed from the device manager in windows, reinstall everything and see if it works then. If it still doesn't, then I think a call or email to Panasonic would the fastest way to get an answer if a Google search doesn't turn up anything.
