Very important this time of year!!!!! Please read

This is the time of year that everyone starts looking for Christmas presents and bargains. If you talk with anyone that knows me you will always hear two comments about me and they are that I am a very lucky person and I can't be beat on finding the best deal on something. Doing research and knowing what you want and a safe place to buy it is very important. You can only go so far down on a price with a legitimate dealer then you start entering the deals that are scams and rip offs. I encourage you to do your research not only on the item you want to buy, but the dealer you intend to purchase from. Beware of the "Too Good to be True" prices because they are just that, TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Please take your time and check out the dealer, BEFORE YOU BUY. I have a lot of information in my post that you really need to read. Don't mess up Christmas by getting scammed by a TOO LOW OF PRICE DEAL. Check out my post here, Jeff
Recommended sites and sites to avoid

Remember that it is very easy to be tempted by the super low price, so check everything out FIRST.

    Very good advice
The world is full of people who can hear a loud bang, feel a sharp pain in their foot, notice smoke trickling from their holster........ And never put it all together.

Canon EOS Rebel XT DSLR; Canon EOS Rebel K2 35 mm SLR, Canon Powershot S5IS Compact; Canon Photura 35 mm P&S (Definitely not compact. Probably the best 35 P&S ever)

I was down at the shopping mall this afternoon and I realised - I have everything already. The things I want that I don't have yet - aren't available:

    - 10 inch Android tablet to show my photos (soon)
    - a car that is as fun as the one I have already but has lower CO2 emissions (not soon)
    - the D700 replacement (not soon at all)

I guess I'd better just get out and do some photos or make some more high-res samples to go on the Android tablet or something..

Not buying any more gear this year. I hope
