The company that I work for (6400 employees) has a galley in our corporate building where they display artists work. They are in the process of gathering names and ideas for this years shows. If anyone is interested in having their name submitted to have your artwork displayed, send me a private message with your contact info and I will forward it to the gallery committee. Below is a copy of what was posted at work. I don’t know any more info that what is included below, but I can try to get answers to any of your questions.


The Richard C. Anderson Gallery, located at the front of building five, is seeking proposals for participation in its upcoming exhibition season. Solo and group shows will be selected and organized from all submissions. Artists should have a strong theme or unifying concept for their exhibition proposal. Selected artists will receive an honorarium for their show. Each exhibition runs approximately six weeks and is promoted within the Lands’ End community.
Do you know somebody who would be interested in exhibiting his or her artwork in one of the categories below?
• Painting/Drawing
• Graphic Arts (photography, printmaking, graphic design)
• Applied Arts (weaving, quilting, jewelry, costume design)
• Sculpture (traditional media as well as mixed media and installation)
• Group Show (multiple artists related by media/theme or educational/historical importance)
Once again this year, in November, we’ll have our annual employee art exhibit. At that time, we’ll invite all employees to submit work for the show. Due to that show, Lands’ End employees and their spouses are not eligible to apply.

Where is building 5? Is it open on the weekends?

Hey Chunk,

Building 5 is located in Dodgeville, at 5 Lands' End Lane. It's not open on weekends, and I don't beleive it's open to the general public at all. If you're interested in seeing the displays, you could call the front desk of building 5 and ask about getting in to see it.

Not at all. The displays they show in the gallery are from all over the country. I know there was a color photo display last year that was from a photog out of New York. Ken McKelroy (sp) I believe his name was. I had a post up here last year asking if anyone had heard of him before because I couldn't find any info about him.

There have been some local artist's work displayed as well, but it's not a requirement that you live within driving distance.

Like I said, I don't know anymore than what is in my original post but I can try to get answers to any of your questions. The company may pay for transportation and lodging but I don't know for sure. That would be up to the artist to work out with the gallery committee if they were selected for a show I would think. I'm just guessing, but I would think they would have to cater to the artist a little bit.
