I'm still around...a few from the weekend

    Hey folks,

Just wanted to say a quick hi and post a few recent photos. I've got limited dsl access these days and so posting is few and far between. Hopefully that will change soon.

I decided to get my camera out this weekend and snap a few shots. The first are from the Malibu pier (a batray and mackerel caught by anglers), and the other two are from going jack rabbit hunting with my brother-in-law. We ran into the rattlesnake as we were heading home. Since I don't know snakes very well I'm not sure if this is a Mojave Green (it was slightly green in color) or just your common western rattlesnake. Maybe someone here can make an identification for me.

    Ray,

Great shots! Love the snake one, very neat, subtle colors. Well done,

Love that rattler shot The second photo is great too. Kind of tells a story.

    Dear Ray,

Glad to see you posting, even if it is rather slow . I like the second fish picture. All shiny and staring. Nice one.

That looks like a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a Hogue overmolded stock. And is that a B&L scope?

    Great rattler photo too!
