Heck yeah! For me, it's all about the image. You've done a great job with your tools and really, it's a great shot. You should be very proud of it!

I've never shot NPZ but know it has a great reputation. A shot like this with a lot of dark areas is a good test for noise. If you have time, one thing I'd be interested in seeing is a 100% crop of the before and after. I don't think this should be a Brand X vs. Brand Y thing, but more of what this software can do for you. I've got a Fuji S2 which I don't use at 1600 because it's very noisy. 800 looks great but 1600 is pretty bad - maybe I should get one of the noise reduction software plugins out there and try it again.
