My mom's friend John invited me to his shop to take photos while in Houston. I spent a few hours this morning taking shots of two Oldsmobiles, two Packards, and two Studebakers, as well as visiting two other shops and chatting with his car club buddies about the classics. I had such a great morning, and these guys' passion for classic cars was great. Special thanks to JLD Classic Enterprises in Houston, TX. Here are a few favorite shots. 2. "A" sticker on the windshield of the Olds is a ration sticker for WWII; rations stickers had either an "A", "B", or "C", and that determined the amount of gas you could get.
