    Re: Classic Car

I like what you are doing here, but it bothers me that only half the car is in the frame. I would go with a landscape shot, same angle, and get the whole car in but leave some space on the left so as to follow the rule of 3rds (MB will love that ). Other than that, you have some great colors here, but maybe give it a shot in the late afternoon or early morning....I bet you get some really great reflections in that cherry red paint.

Thanks you for the feedback, I chose to take this shot due to the fact that it was at a classic car show and I didnt want the people or their reflections in the picture. I had waited a while to get this shot. Thanks again for the feedback

Pretty nice for an outdoor auto show. Light is a bit harsh but what can you do when that's the when and where.
Good focus and dof and I like that you waited for the right moment so as not to get distracting reflections.

    Great shot....
    If I'm not mistaken......That's an MG-B.
    You captured it's essence.
    Well done.

    Re: Classic Car

I appreciate this, it takes patience to get a clean shot at a car show.
I like the detail of the other red car reflected in the front wing.

The colour on the bonnet is shading from red to almost purple, do you have a polarising filter to minimise the reflections? I think it'd be a good investment if you take lost of photos like this. But you need a good one, and they aren't cheap.

If you want a harder challenge, try Goodwood Revival in the car park, more classic cars than you can shake a stick at and some incredible contrasts parked next to each other.

Yes, it looks like an MGB.
The bonnet shape is wrong for the straight six MGC.
Pre 1974 because of the chrome, not plastic, bumper.
Post 1965 because it has rectangular (not round) wing mirrors.
