    Can I play too?

This poor girl got left out of the badminton game at the picnic.

Gorgeous! I love the colours - especially in her sad eyes...

But may I ask, what do you mean by.... "This poor girl got left out of the badminton game at the picnic."

Is that a really strange metaphor for something else!?

Or if not, what sort of a picnic badminton game has huge iron bars like that!!?

The "picnic" was actually in the backyard of one of the practice's partners. He's got 92 acres, and the area surrounding the house has an iron fence, and we set up the badminton net outside the gated area since the backlawn was already taken up by picnic blankets, the grill, tables and chairs, and the croquet "field". Unfortunately, we only had four badminton rackets, so this little girl had to wait her turn while her older sister played.
