Yeah, after a week of alternating who gets to have the flu, the natives are getting restless. But I am not going out when it is 1 degree outside.

    Adina-

In the first one, she almost looks like the Snow Queen . Second one, too cute for words.

Adina, now you're just showing off.

I can't believe you're letting your young'un wear the coveted Photography Review Dotcom Self-Portrait Tiarra!
Rub salt in the wounds why don't ya.

I'll win that tiarra yet. Where's my self-timer button...

Adina -- My honest to goodness outloud response:

    "Oh my goodness!!!"

I'm going to go beyond the standard "oh, she is beautiful" stuff. This is obvious.

When I look at these images I catch what is absolutley necessary for a perfec photo: focus on the eyes. In the second photo in particular, those eyes are crystal. They are so clear and so in focus that I find myself exploring her soul! This is key. In the first image, the focus on her eyes happens to coincide with the tiara. Perfect!!!!

Honestly, I find these two images to be among the best I have seen on here in some time. Why? Because I truly believe that photography is about capturing the soul (and I am not one who is religious!) These capture your daughters soul. It matters not what you decide to do with these images, but you best get yourself a large format image printed out of at least one of these and hang it on the wall!

Adina, I will send you a very large amount of money...

...if you can package some of your light and send it to me.

I don't know exactly what it is, but you seem to have gold coming in through those Wisconsin windows. Of course, having very cute kids doesn't hurt... ;)

Rick, you may be on to something...

I'll have to re-read the small print in the disclaimer Adina signed in Chicago, but I believe allowing someone else to wear the tiara (especially someone under the age of 18!) is in blatant violation of the rules of the title.

So, who was the runner-up in the contest????

    Adina,

Rhianna and I both agree, these are amazing shots. You capture something magical when you shoot your daughters.

    The EYES have it!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again you are the "Queen of Eyes". You have the greatest ablility to capture the beauty of that childs eyes that I have every seen. Wonderful image. Thanks for sharing, even though I am so jealous I can hardly stand it. My two cents worth says you deserve to keep the tiara based on your unchallenge title as "Queen of Eyes".
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Should any of your pitiful attempts come close to earning you the tiara, you still have to make it to Milwaukee or Chicago to have it bestowed upon you.

I'll send you a jar of Wisconsin light for the low low price of $199.99

(payments must be made in full before light is shipped)

Probably 90% of the indoor photos of my girls are taken in the dining room. I had two requirements in a house when we were looking. A seperate kitchen and dining room, both which fit a table, and no bathroom right off the kitchen.

The dining room is probably my favorite room in the house.

    the Tiara

Okay, I have two of the girliest girls living here, who's to say that this isn't an entirely different tiara?

Thanks everyone, for your comments. As these are two of my most favorite things, they tend to be the most photographed.

    I say

(cracking a whip) get back---back off of her....(sounds of a lioness roaring)

She can do what she wants with it...

as long as it's not illegal or warrants a website diclosure of underage viewing.

she could even hold up the couch with it....until someone gives you your tiaras...go take some pictures --- I have yet to see ANY SELF portraits at all from you two.....geesh.

and BTW clause 234V6.afg states that and I qoute

    By laws regardig excessive whining

"any whining related to the passed on tiara and title, by future candidates running for placement of the coveted Self Portraitist of PR.com shall be deemed to be poor sportsmanship and accused candidates will lose eleigibilty for said crown and honor for a length of two calendar years from date of offense"

Once again Adina, beautiful work on the little ones. You should rent out your light to us wannabe's. You're probably really some top secret light designer for the feds or something just moonlighting here to make us all feel unworthy.
