Any Country Music Fans out there?

I covered the three-day Rhythm in the Hills Festival in Pigeon Forge, TN for a local weekly this weekend. Lots of hard work, but what an opportunity to shoot that much starpower in one place at one time.

    Hmm, then again, maybe not...

Nice shots, Andy. One thing's 'fer sure' about Country artists: they're usually pretty photogenic.

    Awesome!

I was all set to start complaining about what's called "Country" these days. But your photos are all of the real deal! I was driving across Nevada yesterday, listening to the first Clint Black album, Iris Dement, and other good, REAL country music. Nonathat slick, glossy, Nashville crap.

You even got Loretty! Good stuff!

    Re: Awesome!

Thanks, folks. I appreciate the comments. And John, Clint Black really ticked me off. He came out wearing ALL black - cut the spots down by half and had almost no stage backlighting (starting his show at 9pm). He just friggin' disappeared in the dark, except for his face and hands. By far, he was the hardest to shoot.

    Oh well.

Yeah, that's tough. I can see what you mean from the photo of him that you posted. Shooting live shows is really tough. As you know. You have to be prepared for anything. I think I like the one of Julie Roberts the most. I don't know who she is, though.

And that first album is sooooooo good!

    Listening to Waylon right now.

Hey Andy, nice shots! You got very characteristic shots of each one!

I like Jo Dee. I haven't been listening to country as much as I used to but I love a few of her songs.

    Nice!
