This is an interesting shot and yes it does catch my eye. However I think you would have had stronger coposition if there had been more you and less pants. They have great texture and some good lines but it's more about them and not enough about you if this is a sefportrait. Nice idea and I would like to see more of your work.

Kinda nice, but I think the viewer needs to see more differentiation betwween skin and material and more empahis on the curves and lines of the skin.

At first I thought it was an image of an army jacket thrown over a shoulder. After reading the other posts, I think I see it for what it is, Sexy, very sexy grunge! I would like to see some detail in the skin as it appears to be digitally smoothed. (grunge in a cosmo magazine way). Great shot.

Very creative idea and execution...I like it just the way it is. It is one of those shots that takes a minute to truly comprehend...which for this photo works very well. I believe changing the composition anymore would ruin that and make the "puzzle" too easy to figure out. Nicely done.

It defiantly becomes more sexy as you stare at it ;)

I am very much in agreeance with OT.
It is an interesting shot, but could be better using the reasons he stated.
Self portraits don't necessarily have to show your face and that is what I like about this.
Keep exploring this subject! ;)

I like this a lot, just as it is, except I think I see some posterization along the shadow line on the skin, which draws my eyes immediately there and is distracting.

Very Nice! LOVE how you featured the pants, which *obviously* have a body in them, which teases the viewer and IMO is very effective!

I uncropped the photo to show more skin and also did not soften. Do you like it better than the cropped?

This is a great teaser shot and done well. I like the crop you posted originally as less skin is more imo. Also is just seems better balanced. However, i do like the unsoftened version with the texture of the skin more evident. I would say crop it as you had done in the original post but do not ps the skin. Very good image. Also, i like the focus on the waist of the pants and not sure if you did it intentionally or if it was just the auto focus running the show, but it is perfect to me. Good work.

I like the unsofted version of the skin and have to agree with Gary - less is more.
Go with the original cropped version.
