    Trying a portrait shot

I was attempting to take a nice B&W portrait shot of my girlfriend. This was one of the better ones. She is laying down the picture is not turned. Also what kind of filter would get rid of the lens glare present?

    Re: Trying a portrait shot

For fixing glare like that WHEN you take the picture, i believe a circular polarizer would remedy that for you. I haven't ever used one myself, but I'm pretty sure that's what you use them for. I found when looking at this picture i kept tilting my head. While i like the dramatic shadow you have on one side, the fact that her head is not upright, is distracting. Maybe if you showed her whole body as well it would put the head in a little more perspective. I mean having her lie down is pointless if the viewer can't see that she is doing so. Maybe it's just me being a contrast junky, but i think the photo could use a little more of it.
