    animal portrait :)

    it's almost first attempt to make a portrait; i've tried before - but i didn't like it at all.
    what do you think about this one?

    I think you got the just about dead on... I don't know how to make it better... I love it because it looks like the moose was posing...

    I may try cropping a tiny little bit of the right hand side.

    Very nice shot. I love the comp, and might boost the colors a tad, but it works at it is! Nice shooting!

    Crop and color are the only 2 things that are holding this image back. I would get tighter and correct that pinkish hue.

    Nice shot, what camera/lens combo did you use? You look to be pretty dang close to that very large beasty.

    thanks to everybody! Now i see - it needs a little cropping on the right.

    Almo, i have canon 20D with lense (here) 100-400mm f4.5-5.6l (here focul lenght was 330 - it was huge scary guy, i just couldn't get any closer )

    That's a great lens to give you the kind of DOF that works so well here.

    I love the attentive look you captured here. Cropping would be good, like several people have said. I don't know about the pink hue. It must be very subtle. Anyways, good shot.
