The light in this is great. I always like looking at your photos. You have a unique view of the world. I like getting to see things through your eyes and lens. Please post more photos in the new gallery.
Two things I think might improve this photo. I would have tried to wait for someone to come into the frame at the right - preferrably someone with bright clothing. That would have balanced the image better. And I wish the building at the left wasn't cropped. I'd like to see the whole thing.
I don't want to try to direct your photography, though. I get obsessed with balance and perfection. One of the things I like about your photos is the sense of surprise and off-balance. I would hate to make you into a photographer like myself. I want to see your photos and be refreshed by the spontaneity and seeming randomness of them. I like your vision and find it inspiring.
That is one of the best night-time architectural shots I've ever seen. The composition and lighting are just perfect... wow. I can only imagine how good it is without the JPEG compression and seen at its normal size.
You did it again! I don't really see what to say that I or others havent already said but your nights shots simply are unique and unforgetable. Then again, you are inspiring me for night shooting to come.
The luminous path coming from the right is quite extraordinary, your place appears to be a photographer dream and you have the eye to render it very well.
There's nothing to critique for me here. Wow. Some spot you found....and some great composition here. Excellent. I love the lighting, the sky, the buildings, everything.
What equipment did you use?
Thanks for sharing it here. It inspires me to do better.
Hi Sean, Penny and Liz, Thanks for your kind word. The photo was taken with a Canon 10D and a Canon 15 mm fisheye at f/2.8, 1/30s, and ISO 3200. The distortion was software-corrected. I denoised the file with Neatimage. The contrast was slightly enhanced in PS.
Hi Photo-John, Thanks for your suggestion. I thought about include the whole building on the left, however, its height is 420 m and I could not actualize the idea.
Hi ThoughtfulPirate, Thanks for the comment. You are always welcome to come to Hong Kong.
Hi Seb, Thanks a lot for your kind words. You are too generous to me.
