    African violet.

    Was at my mom`s today and her African Violets are in full bloom , just tought i would share this photo.
    This was taken with a 2MP Fuji 2800 in Macro mode , no tripod (makes mental note to get one ).

    Critique is always welcome

    Nice color and detail. I love this species. My mom always has some around the house. The image seems a bit soft overall, but its still quite nice.

    Hello Knight,

    I like your picture, the composition and the textures are appealing. That being said, I think that minor tweaks may enhance the visual impact. For instance, I adjusted levels and I boosted the color saturation.

    Nice shot, Seb's redo is nice, certainly brings out the purple I think you were looking for. Nice shot,

    Good-Knight! You must have steady hands. Nice subject. I vote for Seb's touch-up. It really added better detail.
