    Please Help!! Cannot read file!

I have a Kodak EasyShare CX7330. About 3 days ago i transferred some pics to my pc and everything was fine. Today i took some pics and went to trasfer them. They transfered, but when i went to open them, a message saying "Kodak EasyShare Software cannot read the file. (FILE NAME HERE) The file exists, but may be damaged. When i went to print those pics from my dock, they came out perfect. What's going on?! I would really appreciate any help. A friend told me i may have a virus. But the only files and pics i'm having problems with are the pics that i recently took.

While I don't know for sure, and I'm just guessing based on the information you gave me ... the fact that you can print them but not open them makes me think that the image itself is not damaged, but the communication between the software and the image is.

Are they in jpeg format? Try opening them in your web browser. (open your web browser, then choose "open file" from the file menu). If they look fine, and they print fine, then the problem is in the header information that the Easy Share software reads from the picture.
