Thanks all!

#2 is the shot I went there for, froze my butt off for, and made SS nervous because I kept hanging around waiting for the "blues" to come out. I shot about 20 digital frames as the blues got darker into dusk.

The secret service always remind me I can't put a tripod up on the sidewalk. This is right around the white house. I used it down on Constitution right infront of the police and they said nothing.

It was when I kept hanging around waiting for the right light that I got a "trailer" LOL He hung around until I left.

Two things about the white house:
There are now snipers visible on the roof (I kept looking for a red dot on my chest the longer I stayed)
They have built a new "stage" and viewing tower right behind it so I couldn't get the straight-on shot from the rear that I wanted. All there were were angled side shots.
