    By the way...just how big?

    Do you want your prints?? Everyone keeps saying a digicam can't produce large prints. My baby can produce 20x30, and that is big enough for me!

    The original Nikon D1 can too ;) I have seen 1D(4mp) files printed at 60" wide BTW . It is all how you work the file.

    Photo John said something recently about 6' tall prints from his 1D, which is 4mp. DSLR's have an advantage here due to the bigger sensors and possibly the advantage of shooting RAW, but Paul's right - it's all in how you work with it. To that, I'd add that the bigger the print, the more crucial it is to get it right in the camera first. Exposure and focus (and no camera shake) have to be right on.
