    Thought I'd introduce myself....

Hey everyone, I'm Cameron, I just joined. I've been lurking around here for about 2 months off and on. I started taking photo's about 4 months ago for a class I am taking and enjoy it a lot. I'll be posting a few for critique soon but I need to get my photos to my friend's house to scan them. My black and white pictures I develop and make the prints of, and my color ones I just take the pictures. I'm a senior in high school and I'm taking a photo class where we have the whole lab (developing stuff, enlargers, the whole gig). I take the photos for assignments which is basic overview stuff, ex: action photos, patterns and textures, shadows and reflections, studio portraits, etc. Mainly I enjoy taking action photos (mainly mountain biking) and patterns. Well that's me, I can't wait to learn a few things to help me with my photography from this site!

    Welcome Cameron,

Good to see younger people joining in here too. Just remember to do a search for a similar thread to questions you may have as you will more than likely find it has been asked and answered before as well. This is a friendly community of people and everyone is only too glad to help out where and if they can. Don't be too concerned if you don't get an immediate reply from people, it is an ebb and flow type of community as well. Keep you posts in the relevant forum and please don't post the same post in more than one forum, as they will be deleted. If it is found in the wrong forum, don't worry either, as one of the moderators for the forum will move it to the appropriate forum.

There are many members from all over the world here so you will also get to meet some really interesting people as well.

Good luck with your photography course and your learning.

Welcome Cameron - there's aren't too many people here doing their own B&W so it's always good to hear from more. Wish I would have had a class like that in HS, I just recently taught myself how to develop but am scanning the negs for printing. You've probably noticed that there are a lot of other mountain biking photographers here too!
