Went out last night (b-slow wasn't alone in astro-photography) and took shots of the full moon. It was the largest full moon of the year, as the moon was at perigee. Perigee is when the moon's orbit is closest to the earth.
All shots taken with the Coolpix 5700, mounted on a tripod. All shots were taken on Fine, Jpeg, XGA - 1024 X 768 pixels. Cropped for PR.
The first shot was taken at 280mm (35mm equivalent). The second shot was taken at 2.0 digital zoom. The third shot was taken at 3.0 digital zoom. The fourth was taken at, you guessed it, 4.0 digital zoom.
Hopefully, I'll have my film shots developed next week, and I'll post some of those.
