This one was poorly exposed (set for flash), but I fiddled with it. Again from today.

    Re: New Species for Me

The first image looked very vireo like to me, but had a few warbler like color paterns...bay breated, nashville

This to me looks like a yellow throated vireo! They left/ went through NJ from august to early september(with a few stragglers always coming later)area, then got held back by the last two weeks worth of bad migratory conditions?

After actually picking up my Sibley to confirm your ID.... YOU GOT ME

I guess I need to go see more fall warblers to refresh my memory huh?

    On a side note.....

I needed to log out and go to the last post to view this thread. I then logged back in and replied. Seems possibly the link to the whole thread may be why I couldn't reply, or maybe I just needed to refresh my cookies? (BTW, I am eating peanut butter chip cookies right now too... ;) )

    The End

I must say that this thread has without a doubt brought me great joy knowing that so many people took time to find and shoot a bird to add to it......................

But as with all great things, I feel it must end sometime.

Not that we won't play the game again at a later date ;)

OH BTW..... I was informed that indeed we do have the giant killer of the consumerreview family! IOW THIS THREAD IS THE BIGGEST bandwidth wise

WINNER BY KNOCKOUT and STILL CHAMPION.......
