Hi All,
My Sons and I took a little excrsion out to Utah over their Spring Break. The entire purpose of the trip was to visit as many National Parks as we possibly could and squeeze as much beautiful scenery in as we could in the little time we had allotted. I think we did pretty darn good and I'm happy to let you all know that we all, even after 2100 miles and way too much time stuck in the cab of my Dodge truck, made it home alive!
I'm really not too sure the best way to present this to everyone here so I guess what I'll do is break it down into days.
On the first day of the trip, all we did was drive and most of the drive was in the rain.
Day two wasn't much different as far as the weather went, but I was able to get in some photography. Originally the plan was to spend the entire day at Zion NP, however with the rain and the fact we brought our dog along about all we could do was take a drive through the park, limited to only what we could see from SR-9, the main drag through the park. Here's a few of the sights we were able to see...
#1 - Just a nice view from the road.
#2 - With scenery like this, who would mind the wait???
#3 - The mouth to a narrow canyon not too far off the road.
#4 - One of the pools I found as I hiked along the rim of the canyon.
