Nope. That would be my older daughter's eye. Her's are kinda brownish/greenish/blueish/greyish, depending on what she's wearing. Mine are plain old brown.

I think it's my hair in this one that bugs me. btw, that light spot in the front is not grey. I think that's what gets me on this one.

Is there anyone here who ever likes a photo of themself?

Well I thought I'd do something no one else did....then discover others did the same thing .

Took this while playing around during a break in practice at Indianapolis for that lil race they have there in May. It's from one of the rescue trucks in turn 2.

    Re: New Self Portrait thread

I usually don't like portraits of myself, especially full length, but this one actually turned out ok. It is an actual self portait I shot today while on a nature trail here in town. I have posted a few other pics from today on the bird thread, the october night project page and here...and about to post one of my favorites from today on the critique thread. So if you get a chance...take a look. This was a one time shot...don't know what made me think to do it...just felt like fun...maybe that's why I like it.

The camera mount came loose (at 90mph) and instead of the track, I got a self-portrait...

Why not. I was doing head shots for the theater department at school earlier today and decided to use the remote for the D70 to shoot this self portrait. Thanks to Deckcadet for aiming for me. Reflection is distracting but I didn't have time to reshoot.

    Re: New Self Portrait thread

First doesnt really need a caption.

The second on the other hand was after I came home from the eye doctor for an eye exam. Dialating drops in both eyes, but one eye doesnt quite dialate right after an accident/surgery to remove the 1/8" metal chip, the moral: wear safety glasses when achem...reshaping metal >_> (only editing was making eyes new layer, and then making the rest sepia and a tighter crop)

(I passed the eye exam btw, doc said my eyes were perfect)

just something i shot for some advertising stuff for my photos. Yes, that's my rebel ti. Sucks when you only have 1 digital camera and you have to use that camera to take a picture of you with a camera. Oh well, them's the brakes.

I think the lens more than makes up for the Ti in that shot.

OK, apparently I posted this in an old thread...
Which Almo was kind enough to point out to me.
Apparently I did not select the most recent one when I did my search.
Like I really needed a reason to post this again. ;-)
