Could this be regarded as a portrait ?

My daughter asked me to take a photo of one of her pony dolls .
So , i got hold of one of my wife's older curtains for a background .
I first tried with the normal lights and a flash , but it was rather dissapointing
I put all the lights out and took the photo in the dark , just used the flash , and was quite surprised .
Would like to know what you think , and to get back to my question as well , could this be regarded as portrait ?
If not under what category could this be placed ?

    Thanks and regards

A pink pony! Wow, what interesting/bright colors in this one. I think it could be considered a portrait. Obviously not a human portrait, but a portrait of a plastic figurine. And if it isn't a portrait, I have no idea what it is.

    Nice pic

In my opinion this could be considered a portrait.

    n.

A verbal picture or description, especially of a person.

I was at McDonalds today and they had a picture of the kid's toy that looked *just* like this, only drawn rather than photographed.I thought of you.
