National Geographic Magazine - April, 2010 Issue

I received my preview issue today from the printers. My shot of a water strider from last fall made its way to the departmental sectional (Science) of NGM.

This issue should start hitting newstands and mailboxes in a couple days.

Re: National Geographic Magazine - April, 2010 Issue

I thank you all tremendously for your comments!

It's taken 15 months of working with the nice folks at NG (and they are extremely nice/professional people there) to get this far with this third image for them. In the meantime, an editor for a different national magazine contacted me out of the blue to do some freelance work for them. I have an even larger project in the works that I hope will come together very soon.

So I suppose the moral of the story is to keep perservering and keep being "out there". A site like this one is a terrific place to start and I commend Photo-John and everyone here for keeping the site fresh, friendly, and fun.

Heading out the door now with a trunk full of suits and clothes for a 3 hour drive to a set of an all day commercial shoot. Will be back tomorrow.

    Thanks again.
