Hmm, 20D images not always soft...

I decided to try some test shots using my "best" lens, a Mark I 50mm 1.8. I gathered up my victims...I mean models and proceeded to shoot a few shots before they demanded their reward.

This first one is our Boston Terrier, Conan. I shot it as a jpg, using autofocus (I was also checking out the autofocus accuracy). For lighting, I used a 550EX flash bounced off the ceiling. The image is essentially straight from the camera, just resized for the web.

This one is one of our Mini Schnauzers, Bucko. He wasn't very excited about me getting in his face with the camera! I shot this as a Raw image, tweaked the color just a very small bit, and resized for the web. I'm getting the impression that the quality of lens being used is going to have a much bigger impact on the quality of the image than I'm used to!

Clicker, it sounds like your camera needs to be "adjusted". Just mail your camera to me and I will take care of it for you. Ok? Priority mail please. I swear I will send it back very quickly. ;)
