I love how you composed that first shot PJ!

Though I have to admit when I first saw Lela, my first thought was "What the...!!!!???" Very unusual coloring.

What kind of dog is Lela?

Yeah, Lela is a funky-looking dog. But she's wonderful. Supposedly, she's a boxer/heeler mix. She looks like a pit bull, but doesn't really act like one at all. She's very good natured and loves people. She seems to hate horses and cows, though. She goes crazy when we drive by them. It's pretty funny. Unless you're a horse ;)

I'm with you - she looks like a pit bull. You can defiinitely see the boxer in her, but she's big for a boxer. But she seems to love the outdoors!

John...... what do pitbulls act like ;) All of them I had were not what people think they are...

Mine were all lap dogs with hardly any prey drive. APBT's are highly loyal and as terriers have plenty of energy.

As to her breed mix.

cattledog(heeler) is a very likely breed due to color, stance, build, ears(they are natural ), but boxer is a ? . I just don't see boxer qualities in her.

REGUARDLESS..... She looks great to me and her genetics are not important
