    hey Paul: what came first----

    o.k. so not chicken eggs...these were in a pine tree at my in laws---thought of you...

    this the third year in a row these get laid in the same spot on the same branch...the last two years two out four eggs were actually fertilized....

    robin eggs right?

    They look just like robin eggs to me.... never seen eggs that color that weren't from a thush... wood thrush, hermit thrush, robin....... ROBIN is the mostlikely suspect since wood and hermit thrush are more forest dwelling secretive birds.

    I love the simplicity and beauty of that pic. Robins eggs are so beautiful in color, and it really adds sparkle to the pine around it.
