    that's very true!!!!!

loss of life is a terrible shame!

Michelle's grandmother is old yes, but she still has most of her wits ;)

She was actually afraid to leave the house because the alarm was out. Her house has TONS of VERY EXPENSIVE articles in it. She was sitting on the couch with a 380 auto waiting for looters

"YOU LOOT, I SHOOT" was the best sign I've seen on the news ;)

Ah, I can understand her fear of looting. Bless her heart for wanting to protect her possessions. But what a relief to know someone took care of her health!

My hubby and I were talking about the potential looting when it was all over the news that there were areas under mandatory evacuation. I don't know what will happen should it ever happen to us. We tend to disagree on what to do!

    Glad you're safe...

My uncle had but a few torn screens and tattered trees.
Glad the brunt of it missed you.

    Penny,

Thanks. Yeah, the more I see on tv, the more I realize how lucky we were to have Chrliey miss us by so little. Although no one was killed inland in Central Florida, many in the Orlando area are still without power (some will be until next week).

Gabe is in Miami, which didn't get hit at all from either storm. I don't know where Kristen lives, but unless it was on the lower west coast, it's more than likely only slight property damage. Yeah, I say ONLY, but if it's your home damaged I'm sure it's very stressful...

Hey everyone, I'm glad to say that we are safe and damage free! We are on the east coast, and only got one squall line... I have friends in Deltona who are still without power and phone (and probably will be for a couple more days) but thank goodness they are all safe.

Thanks Penny, and everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I will be posting again soon, after things settle down with my kids' school. On second thought, that'll never happen I'll squeeze in some photos soon though!

Thanks again and I'm glad that everyone and their loved ones are safe!

OK. Thankfully we know that everyone is safe here! I'm wondering is anyone was able to get shots of the "aftermath" or even the "during".
