Happy Memorial Day especially to all our soldiers - active and retired, and to all men and women who serve or have served to protect the United States of America - and to all of us who honor them. And may those who have died serving our Country or who have died after their service, rest in peace. May God bless and protect their families.

I echo your sentiments, Liz. While I didn't come up with any patriotic images, I did spend a few hours walking the streets with my Contax, my "Proud to Have Served" pin, and my Vietnam-era ball cap, shaking hands and striking up conversations with some old vets getting ready for some memorial services around the city. Special day, today.
