Pipes - Charlotte, NC St. Patick's day celebration

We were lucky enough to be in Charlotte on the day the city celebrated St. Patrick's day.

    What do you think?

Nice shot, Seb - but I saw the same things Penny did. Just a little too tight in the composition. I won't tell you about the snow we got last night or the snow that's predicted again tonight.

    Geesh!

Penny took the words right out of my mouth-lol

EVERYTHING she said and asked and stated...

    nice colors too.
"I was not trying to be shocking, or to be a pioneer.
I wasn't trying to change society, or to be ahead of my time.
I didn't think of myself as liberated, and I don't believe that I did anything important.
I was just myself. I didn't know any other way to be, or any other way to live."

    Thanks everyone!

I agree with all of you, it's framed a bit tight. As for the DOF, I wasn't trying to totally isolate him, I like the fact that the other piper is recognizable. I know it makes it look busy, but it achieves what I was going for.

As for the colors, I love them too. The sun washed it out a bit, but I was still amazed at how well the colors and highlights held up.

    Penny,

I think this is excellent. I agree with the top being cropped a bit too tight, but I like the blurred background exactly as you caught it Right on.
