    Nora,

This is really good news! I'm so happy to know that Greg is progressing. Hopefully he will soon be off of the vent completely.

I hope you have a good weekend. You certainly deserve it.

Nora, that's wonderful news All those little steps in the right direction are starting to add up!

Spring is the time of hope, here's one of those early spring flowers for Greg, from my last trip out. He'll probably say that it needs a little cropping from the top and the right

Just keep your strength up, Nora, and we'll all keep praying for you, Anna and Greg (and your mother of course).

Thank you Pink D, that shot is gorgeous!!

Anna and I visited Greg Sun evening and it was very different from all our other visits because he CAN TALK NOW!! He is off the vent for 16hrs at a time and I expect he will be fully weaned this week? I am very proud of him!! He is doing absolutely great. He started Physical Therapy today.

Thank you everyone again for all your positive vibes and thoughts and prayers....

That's good news, Nora. At the other hospital we could send him cards.
What's the address and room# he's in now. I'd like to send him a card at least.

    Talking ?
    That is great news !
That means he has breath to spare.

It was always a good sign with my mother, when she was in hospital with her chest infections.
It was stolen breaths, between the oxygen and the nebuliser, but it was always good to talk.

I'm looking forward to news of the next improvements, Nora.

    Nora,

What great news! I would say it's a milestone in his recovery process!

Now you can communicate with him directly - with no having to wonder what his thoughts are or would be - and he can tell you how he feels, how much pain, his concerns, etc. What a blessing!

    Have a good day, Nora.

Hi Liz! yes, you are right. It is such a relief and a blessing. And I have to tell that he let everyone know he wanted Anna and me there!! I am looking for a blue tooth phone system or something like that so he can talk on a phone without holding a phone, this is a problem for him. Any suggestions anyone? I am off Friday so will see what I can find then.
