    First D2x shot.

    Just a quick shot of our dog.
    This photo is untouched other than resizing.
    Shot at iso 800.
    First impressions of this camera......VERY IMPRESSED!!!!

    Nice!

    That's a great doggy portrait! I love it. Good job - especially if it was only meant as a casual test. I think it's a keeper.

    And the camera is pretty neat, too ;)

    Wow great first shot for your camera. Beautiful colors too considering it's untouched, what lighting did you use?!

    Jared,
    Shot was taken with window light to the right of pooch.
    I have had the camera for about a week and have had no chance to shoot with it.
    I had a few minutes to shoot yesterday (very few) and was looking for my first victim and along came doggie.

    The main thing I wanted to see is how well it (D2x) handled Higher iso.
    Set to A priority 2.8 and fired away.

    Great job! Deffinatly a keeper for the protrat of the dog. Was he a willing victim, or did you have to lure him into posing for you?
