Shot this about 3 weeks ago at a San Diego beach. Its an effect where you use three filters - red, green, and blue - on a triple exposure set at -2 f-stops (I actually shot it at -1 since from experience I know that -2 underexposes). Anything that is stationary receives the same amt of red, green, and blue exp and theoretically comes out normal color, although as you can see its not exact. Anything area of the pic that moves will be a different color. Here, the water is the moving part.
The trick is to prevent your camera (and tripod) from moving at all and to hope your camera can really hold the film steady when it recocks the shutter.
This is the sharpest shot, but the composition isn't as good as the next shot (I post that next).
