    Fireworks in B&W

This is my second try at taking firework pictures. As I was playing with them, I converted a couple to b&w. I thought they came out cool looking.

I agree, I think they work well with the city as well. Converting fireworks to black and white is something I would never think to try - I may have to when I get my slides back from DC's show. Great stuff for your second try!

That is too cool Toot! I never would have thought of doing that. It's fireworks, and everyone knows you shoot fireworks in color! :-O Or not!

Great shots Toot! I like the cityscape with them, makes them more interesting. And that was inspired converting them to B&W!

    There is something about B&W

Lately, I have been getting into b&w more and more. After I load my pictures into the computer it becomes fair game to play with...and B&W isn't out of the picture. You never know what you come up with. They also look nice in color. I just wanted something different.

    no color vision

Trivia for the day. To the best of many specialists knowledge, after years of testing, those shots are exactly how I see the world. All my eyes can process is 16 shades of gray and black and white. I always end up watching the show in the dark with my shades on.

    I like

Very nice. I'd also never have thought to do b&w with these.

    Turned out nice.
