A Few Shots Of A Gorgeous Woman

Saturday night we had a 50th Anniversary Party for Dawn's grandparents. Your's truly was the DP (designated photographer), so I took advantage of that to get several shots of my gorgeous wife.

P.S. This is part of why I'm a happily married man!

First two shots are of the wife in her new dress. BTW, red is her grandmothers favorite color, so all the ladies in the family wore red.

Third shot is of Dawn and her sister.

Last shot is of Dawn and our children. I am a blessed man!

N80, Sigma 28-70mm f2.8, Porta 160 NC, SB-28 on my new Stroboframe. These have been reduced for the web, and a quick and dirty color correction to remove the color cast in the scan. (The prints are beautiful, no color cast at all.)

I am a blessed man. These photo's are proof that there is a God. How else could my offspring be that good looking? And there's no explaning what Dawn see's in me! Now there's proof of Divine intervention. :-O

Dawn commented on how good these pictures were, and she's one of my toughest critics! I guess all that money she's forked over in the last two and a half years is starting to pay off. ;-)

She particuarly liked the colors in the prints. I told her that the colors were the reason I chose the film I did. I'm primarily a Fuji man. I've shot, and continue to shoot, about a dozen Fuji films. I only shoot one Kodak film, and that's Porta 160 NC. If I find a Fuji film that does as well, I may switch. In the meantime, my philosophy is, "If it ain't broke, then don't fix it."

Thanks again for the comments Brian!

You are correct my friend. Anyone who has shot Porta 160 NC knows what we're talking about. It's at times like this I really wish I had the PS skills to make the scans match the prints.

    Thanks for the comments!
