Welcome to the forums!
The composition of the first leaves something to be desired.to be interesting. Its a good documentary shot of the work on your truck.
Second pretty much the same but I think your b/w conversion is quite good.
Lots more detail in the third and I like the composition better as an abstract, but then maybe one wouldn't want that much detail in an abstract?

Aha!! Fooled you!! That's actually not B&W conversion, it's just the natural light and the less than favorable automatic settings of the point and shoot camera that I was using at the time.

I agree completely!! The only way to learn and expand is to critique and be critiqued. Thanks for your thoughts!!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the first shot was taken almost immediately after stripping was completed, in the early evening. The second and third were taken the next morning, which is why the hood is covered in dew. Also, it was pretty overcast that morning, which is why you thought that the second photo had been converted.
