Re: Check out my revolutionary new art

    Oh my

Sir if I could report you to the EPA and have you shut down I would. Your art is harming your environment, your neighbors, and yourself as well.

Surely your God does not condone you polluting His creation or sickening His children.

Please reconsider your art or try doing it in large containers that are later disposed of properly.

    Regards,

As Mr. Moderator I'll keep my views out of this thread and will keep a close eye on it. This will probably be the first thread here that I'll have to delete. Congradulations on being the one to ruin a good thing.

Well, I tried to look at your site, but there were no photos there, only little red X's. Judging by the response on this site, and the response in the forum on your site, I can imagine what your photos look like.

EDIT: I was able to go back and veiw the photos. If this is the kind of art you feel you need to create, I would find a safer, environmentally friendly way to duplicate this effect without damaging our environment. I'm sure you could duplicate this look digitally with Photoshop.

Interesting idea, but I was thinking along the lines of digital manipulation.

My friend and I did did something along these lines back in '68. We filled his little red wagon halfway with water, took it in the garage and poured or sprayed every chemical in the cabinet into it. It was the coolest thing we ever saw. It was so cool we showed his Mom. She beat us both, and when my Dad got home from work I got another beating!

I remember that because the beatings were severe. And the beatings were severe because what we did was dangerous and our folks were worried we might do something like that again.

    I never did it again!

It might be Art but it's not revolutionary or new. And it's not very smart.

One time my brother and I filled a bowl with baking powder (or soda, not sure) and then hid in the pantry while we poured vinegar in the bowl. It foamed up all over the place, and made a big mess, which we didn't clean up.

    We get yelled at when my mom found it. :}

    You crack me up Adina!!!

I also agree that this "art" was done for shock value, and judging by the 500 plus "views" of this thread in a little over 24 hours, I would say you succeded in your goal.

This one time, at band camp... Ok, it was in our garage when we were kids. My brother took a lighter, and a can of WD-40 and made a little flame thrower out of it. He proceded to light me on fire with it. Ah, the good ole days. It was just the WD-40 burning off the sleeve of my jacket, but it scared the crap out of me.

Ah yes, the good ole WD-40 flamethrower. My brother and I discovered that when I was in Jr. High. Lets just say that some of my sister's Barbie dolls were a little flame broiled.

Oh that rocks! Next time my kids are at school....

When I was about 4, my brother (6) and my cousin (7) used to load up the Millenium Falcon (did I mangle that spelling) and shoot it out the attic window (3rd floor) because "it flies on TV". All the Star Wars guys were in body casts.

LOL, Adina. I used to do all sorts of stuff like that when I was a kid. I lost so many GI Joes because I would make parachutes for them out of plastic bags.

We discovered that screw in the back of those guys real quick. We had our own Franken-Joes.

I know, it's taken a different direction.... BUT

Picasso a hack? Well, let us know when your "original, revolutionary" art sells for millions...

    Troll

    Troll.

We haven't had a good troll in a while, so this is fun. I can't every remember having one with such self-righteous delusions of grandeur, though. It seems like teenage self-discovery to me.
