That's a sweet photo, NoKnees! Where was this taken? That's a tasty-looking pitch!

    A Couple To Consider

I think this is a sweet thread. Thanks for starting it, jetrim.

I've got a couple here that I think are worthy. The first one is my Polish friend Milosz, capturing some Utah singletrack action for his magazine bikeBoard.

The second is a bunch of the photography press at the Olympus E-P1 intro. I wish you could see more cameras in this one. But there's a lot of chimping going on. It's funny how photographers only see things through the camera. We have a very hard time actually just stopping and looking at something. It only counts if we get it with the camera

    LOL - yeah, nuts huh?!

During the peak, there were so many 500mm's, 600mm's, and I even saw one 800mm that you'd think we were covering Tiger Woods through an opening or that Madonna was hiding somewhere in the woods. Not 5 inch birds 20 feet away

This one from the recent frog jumping festival.

I had to smile as the technique appears all his own. And painful too!

    Tour de France

I crossed this guy one hour before the start of the Tour de France this afternoon. He was set up in a narrow street 300 yards after the starting line. Looks like an interesting project.

My new friend Taj, she may be using Canon now, but she sure enjoyed using my D300 with 70-200mm f/2.8.

Hey old timer, pretty amazing shots there! What kinda lens where you using there? It's amazingly sharp.

I asked this fine gentleman if I can shoot him shooting and he had no problem with. He's also got a copy of it by now ;-)
