The first photo is of a buddy of mine that I took while we were out shooting. The second picture is one that he took on another shooting outing of me on a pier taking pictures of the bridge, Jeff

I like the look of total concentration on her face. She has no idea of anything that is happening outside of the LCD display and she does not seem to care. Also your DOF is perfect her hands and the camera are slightly OOF and he face is in perfect focus. Very nice study / portrait. The only nit pick I can see would be to crop the top, which I would do with sissors or an x-acto knife.

Hey, Jeff....your buddy has a big lens...does he let you borrow it?
Love the look of consternation on the woman's face, Paula. It's representative of the look on many of our faces, I suspect.
Tom O. welcome to the forums. I like the last shot a lot.
Frog, that is an $8000.00 lens mounted on a D700. As far as borrowing this lens, I wouldn't want my hands on this exspensive of lens. He has a nice tripod with a Gimble mount for this thing, Jeff

Photographing tourists in Oxford is like shooting fish in a barrel.
But less messy
Cool shot .. I like the architecture behind them and the way they're isolated in the middle of it.
