I was wondering that too. I had luch with him here in DC about a year ago now... that was the last I've heard of him. I might still have his snail mail address around somewhere...

I haven't - but here's his profile page. If anyone has AOL (I don't), he does have IM. Last time he checked in here was 1/23.

I see his birthday is Halloween - same as my sister and a friend of mine!

There's been quite a few inquirys about Kokopeli. I have access to the email address he registered with, which I can't and wouldn't give out. If no one has been able to contact him, I can send him an email and point him to this thread if you guys would like. Just let me know.

Funny, I was thinking of him yesterday...

Seems he went a while between posts towards the end of last year. I think he said his new job didn't have internet access. Might explain it. That and the fact he has three kids (I think).

I think we take spending a lot of time here, or at least making regular posts, for granted. I'm sure he just has other things going on in his life that take his mind away from our online community.

    Hi everyone!!

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking.. I just haven't been clicking much and have been spending little time online.

I appreciate the e-mails I've received and I'm touched that a thread was satarted for me. I have missed this site and all of my family here and I offer my sincerest apologies for my hermitdom. I hit a lull, a photography block so to speak, and I basically shut off everything photog related. In fact, I think the Yosemite outing with Ray, Claudia, Gene and Penny was the last time I had my camera(s) in my hand until 2 weeks ago. It was good to have it back in my mits again and has inspired me to get out there and start shooting.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the Nikon Samurai #3 has returned (assuming y'all will still have me) and he's back with a vengence!

Steve, Nata, Ray and Lara, thanks again for the e-mails. I know I didn't respond and I apologize for that as well...

    See y'all on the boards!

    Re: Hi everyone!!

Brian I think what probably concerns everyone is not knowing if something serious has happened to someone, with this International family contact that is cyberspace.

Good to hear you are OK and taking the camera up again.

I've had times where I've gotten away from one hobby or another from time to time, so I can relate. Good to see you back though! Yeah, we'll keep you around as #3!

Nice to see you posting Brian. I think your friends were more concerned that you were okay than anything.

    Nice to see you again!!

Alot of us were indeed concerned because you haven't been on the boards. I think most of us can relate to your photography block. I've certainly had them myself and I'm kinda in one now. I'm glad to see you back and look foward to your posts.
    Thanks for posting Brian!!

Re: Nice to see you again!!

heartwarming to see the concern for one another on this forum. As for the Photo block, i can relate to that.. For me though, sometimes i feel like if I can't be the best at what I'm doing or at least be up there with the best, than why bother. But then i realize that that attitude is a wrong appraoch and I just get back to it because it makes me happy to express myself in this creative outlet. . .and thats what should be reason #1
    Great to have ya back
