Night Street Ride

I went out the other night with some friends on a street ride. It was fun, but I am not doing to much riding right now so the camera came along.

I love skate photography and this is right along those lines. However, I can't really see what's happening in these photos. The light is fun, but I can't tell anything about the environment or what the rider is doing.

I've been wanting to do some urban, radio slave, skateboard style mtb photos. I live right next to a university, so it's just a matter of getting some riders to work with me.

Do more of these. I want to see what you can do. I think you need more ambient light to make it work. I want to see some backgrounds as well as the rider - even though it's dark.

These wera all made to be ultra streaky. half second was the fastest shutter speed I used.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I can see how you could not tell what is going on. I guess when you are there that just sticks in your mind.

one shot is a small jump off a tree stump that he is tweeking as much as possible. The other is an aboobica (however you spell that)
