    Self Portrait

    Like I said in the VF, I havn't done one of these in quite some time. Just looking for feedback, opinions..ect...

    I think of all of the self pics that you have posted this is the best.
    It is interesting.
    Bur it is very dark, in the thematic sense.
    I don't really know you John, but are you really this dark?

    Well I do believe that we all have our dark side, but I wouldn't say I am any darker than most. Do I often come off in a creepy, dark manner? I do admit it to be my intent at times, but it isn't a lifestyle by any means.

    Not too bad Almo, it does feel as though the camera\film plane is not perpendicular to your face.

    Almo,

    This is very sinister and I like the way the darness around the eyes seems to flow into your pupils.

    How did you get this lighting?

    Gives me that creepy feeling you get watching a good horror movie.

    Well in actuality the original image looks very little like this. I arived at this finished product only after the conversion to B&W. What you can't see is that I have my head cramed into a computer case with the camera perched at the top. The lighting is just from the onboard flash unit.
