Play with it a while, it's pretty powerful. It's also good to know that cntrl-d opens up images in whatever editor you want. Just choose that editor (PS) in the preferences. It may have defaulted there already.

BTW, I knew what you meant by 300+ images. I'll still print out a "roll(s)" of shots of fun events, vacations, etc. I use "proofs" in breezebrowser to resize, sharpen, and increase contrast (levels). Then download them to a local shop and pick them up the next day. For stuff like this, especially, this is less expensive and less time consuming.
