    Water Lillies

Well darn, looks like someone already beat me with a water lilly post, but I'll post these anyway. I have a bad habit of getting everything perfectly centered... might be more interesting if I used more of the back ground... Let me know your thoughts.
These were taken on a cloudy day, and have a little curve adjustment in Photoshop to bring out the natural colors.

    Thanks, Chuck

Since you've already covered the composition gripe, I'll just say these are great. Beautiful colors and the reflection in the last one is terrific.

I, too find the reflection in the last one terrific. I like the colour and the angle is just right to cover part of the centre of the flower. But may be I would take a bit more of the foreground or adjust the angle to leave out the two leaves at the top of the background if possible.

    chuck...

Those white ones are gorgeous and I agree the reflection in the last is a nice touch. There are a few scattered white spots in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pic that you may want to clone out, I'm not sure whether they are just little pieces of foam or what. I don't have anything against the pink ones, but the white just stand out as more stunning in my opinion.
    Good Work,
    Kit

Thanks, Kit. I decided not to take the white spots out. Some of stuff is Juniper Tree debris. (nothing in Central Oregon is ever clean)
My biggest hurdle is trying to get the composition right on these (as with nearly all of my photos)... thus not having all of them being perfectly centered.
I thought about doing some cloning, but I'm trying to keep them as original as possible, with the exception of global color/contrast correction. My thinking here is that that will hopefully make me a better photographer if I try to eliminate most of the undesirables at the scene. I think I'll go back out there and retake some to see if I can make them more interesting... provided it stops raining.

    Thanks again, Chuck.
