    Unwitting Subject

Waiting for the cyclist to come along my pup decided that she needed to be a part of the action. I was actually happy with this shot because being a black dog most shots don't come out well defined. She usually is a black object with eyes, tongue and teeth in photos.

    Enjoy

I love this shot. The DOF is so effective that you know what's in the background, yet it's still mysterious. The colors are great, the dog's composition is right on.

    Great shot,

    Jared

Good pic for the exposure reasons you described, but I have to disagree on the composition -- I'd like to see the road and cyclist and dog flwo together, ideally. They seem disjointed now - my eye follows the raod to the cylists.

I like the focus on the dog, and it seems to be a great picture of the dog. I too have my focus taken to the cyclists down the road. I like the exposure, though. I think you got this one just right.

I like this because it seems to be telling some sort of story, but I don't know what it is. So I have to use my imagination.
