    A Prickly Subject

    On the way home Friday afternoon this is what I found.

    Nice, looks like Teasel (well that's what its' called this side of the pond).

    I'm distracted by the bits of the other flower to the right, in sharp focus.
    You've done a pretty good job separating the flower from the background otherwise.

    But with the brown flower and the brown background, I'd have been tempted to bend down a few inches and put the flower against the sky. The more I look at it, the more I like it as it is.
    So I learn something - thanks !

    If only it weren't for those three sharp-focussed bracts and the hint of the spines on the seeds coming in from the right.
