Trip to Boston: Park Street Church

Here's the last of the Boston photos for this evening. This is a photograph of the Park Street Church near the State House in Boston, MA.

Comments are welcome. Thank you for looking.

Re: Trip to Boston: Park Street Church

For this photo, I liked how the trees on both the left and right sides of the church framed the steeple. However, there were some electrical cables running across the bottom of the photo which I PSed out as I felt that they interfered with what I was trying to portray here.

    Comments are welcome. Thanks.

Hey Nate, at first while the image was scrolling down on my screen , I was thinking the steeple should not have been centered and maybe position the camera to the right so to eliminate the left tree and bring the steeple over to the left a bit. But. . .now that I lkook at this a few times I find that it works fine and as you have stated, I like the two trees framing the subject. Also , i like the varying tones you have achieved in this b&w shot. Good work

I was wondering about moving to the left and not having the tree across the steeple, but the two trees then appearing to support it.
I bet you couldn't actually get to that position to take a photo though

    Nate,

I have looked at the series of photos and they have brought back some fond memories of Boston. I used to visit there a lot a few years back.

I agree wiith the comments made but one thing really gets me is the branch that cuts throught he tower. Nice photo tho.
