Here's a photograph of a stair scene I thought was an interesting composition. This is fairly close to the Cheer's bar in Boston.

Good job here Nate. I like your framing here, and what makes this shot for me, besides the nice tones of the b&w, is the lighting that was evident in the foreground and shadows of the railings playing on the steps. A very simple scene made interesting by lighting and photographers point of view and comp. If I had a nit pik, it would have been to open a little more space on the bottom and right side. Nice.
