I think jetrim pretty much said what I was thinking. I would like to add that even when you are trying for a dark mood you still need to be able to make out what the subject is to make it an interesting photo. You can have better lighting and still achieve the mood you want. Any comments that are made here are intended to help you improve your skills. We are not here to berate or knock anyone's pictures but to help each other be the best that we can be. Getting other people's perspectives on what we are doing often broadens our way of thinking and makes us a better all around photographer. I hope you stick around and post more pictures.
